This one's gonna be a long one, folks.
-Middlesex. There are no adequate words to describe how amazing this book is or how attached I am to it. So enthralling. Every free moment in the past few days has seen me curling up wherever I could to dive back into the pages. I will probably obsess about it for the next few days.
-I don’t really want to read anything else yet, still gotta soak in the greatness, but I only have a few more...
Cynical, cynical, cynical me.
Meh.

THE PUBLIC AFFAIRS INTERNSHIP AT NHL HQ IN NY SOUNDS PERFECT BUT YOU HAVE TO BE A COLLEGE GRADUATE AND I WILL NOT BE THAT FOR AT LEAST ONE MORE YEAR.
If you aren’t planning on doing at LEAST 75mph (though ideally 80-85) why in the name of driving are you in the fast lane?! Come on.

Now that I have some money/gift cards, feeling pretty excited to jump back into the consumer fray. Need some new clothings (both work and regular life,) to get my hairs cut. Feeling fortunate to have these options at all.
I do, however, wish we were going up north or down to Marco for the remainder of break. Gonna keep repeating that until in magically happens. Or just bury my nose in books and...
Restless.
My sister is learning how to drive
Dad’s approach: So, in a minute or so there will be an opening here once the cars pass, you’ll wanna turn once this one passes.
Mom’s approach: (shrieking) GO GO GO!!!!!!
Even so, here’s to wishing tonight we were rolling down a dark highway to Marco instead of here.

Where did time even go?
It was September, I blinked, and it’s almost the New Year.
Happy Holidays everyone!
It’s felt different, but still good. Love family and good friends and that one boy. :)
Unrelated, thinking of chopping 3-5 inches off of my hair. I finally grasped how long it is: too long.

“Two New York City men feel a tremendous responsibility to respond properly when they mysteriously receive hundreds of letters addressed to Santa Claus at their Chelsea apartment.” Miracle on 22nd Street - Video Library - The New York Times
Aww, Mrs. Claus is actually Santa’s boyfriend.
I’m seriously curious as to how these kids got their address though.
5 A’s, 1 A-. Not pleased about the minus but I’ll take it. INSANE SEMESTER OFFICIALLY COMPLETE AND A SUCCESS. Phew.
Cleaning the room mostly equals throwing a lot of things out.
Five A’s so far. One more class to go. I will be beyond disappointed if I don’t 4.0 this semester.
Things are so strange now. Changes happen, life moves on, incredibly happy with my lot, but doesn’t take away from the fact that I miss how close we all used to be. Maybe I’m just imagining it but probably not.
Today was probably one of the best days I’ve had so far at the Joe. Make A Wish came and it was so great to see the kid get to hang out on the bench, talk to coach, and play keep-away with Pav and Hank. They went a little easy, but he held his own! Impressive. I also handled my first meet and greet by myself, which also went well. The guys were really nice and talkative, and even though...

So far, 3 A’s! in Social Psych, Family Violence, and Public Communication and Culture Studies. This is a huge relief, because I was worried about that last class. Now just need to worry about 3 more.
